Nestlé India Shares Gain 0.36% Post 1:1 Bonus Share Allotment

Nestlé India Ltd. saw its shares climb 0.36% to ₹1,100.50 in morning trading following the completion of its 1:1 bonus share issuance. The Allotment Committee distributed 964.16 million new shares to shareholders of record as of August 8, doubling outstanding equity while maintaining proportional ownership stakes.

Trading activity remained brisk with 256,000 shares changing hands, generating ₹28.08 crore in turnover by mid-session. Buy orders outpaced sells 111,718 to 78,565, with deliverable volume accounting for 39% of total trades. The bonus issue, approved at a July 24 EGM, expands the company's paid-up capital to ₹1,928.31 crore.

Market capitalization now stands at ₹2.12 lakh crore post-allotment, with free float valuation reaching ₹78,797.50 crore. The stock traded in a tight range between ₹1,097 and ₹1,102.60 during the morning session, reflecting steady investor appetite for the FMCG giant's equity.
